LANTURNA is an educational initiative that purposes to establish learning collectives to enhance spiritual growth and enrich communal life. We are moved by our love for the Prophet ﷺ to shine the light of his legacy in the hearts of his lovers. We seek to do this through our courses, retreats, and publications in such a manner as to provide companionship to those who seek to become his companions. We welcome you to our growing family.
ʿAbd Allāh b. Masʿūd once said إنما العلم نور يقذفه الله بقلب المؤمن “Knowledge is but light that God casts into the hearts of the faithful.” Faithful hearts, therefore, are the lanterns that protect and project the light of knowledge. While young, those gifted with knowledge are called bright, and with time, they become luminaries of wisdom who serve to enlighten others with their brilliance, delivering them from the darkness of ignorance.
The light of their knowledge beams in the resplendence of their words, deeds, and states. And the lanterns of these faithful hearts shall continue to flicker with light so long as they are turned toward God and His Messenger ﷺ.
