DESCRIPTION
Morocco has for centuries been one of the spiritual centers of the Muslim world. In every major masjid throughout the country, the Qur’an is completed in a communal recitation that commences with the sighting of each new moon. Fez has gifted the ummah the most seminal compilation of ṣalawāt on the Prophet ﷺ, dalāʾil al-khayrāt of Imām al-Jazūlī, read the world over and increasingly gaining popularity in the West. Fez is also home to the first university ever offered the world, the legacy of the great Fāṭimah al-Fihriyyah. Morocco was established by the fifth grandson of the Prophet ﷺ and Fez by his sixth, and since, the country and its crown jewel have exuded praise for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ in its art and architecture. Lanturna invites you to add your voices to its cadence, to fall in love with its love of the Beloved ﷺ, and to discover why it is now home to our very own El-Hajj Hisham Mahmoud and his family.
We are blessed to be able to provide scholarships to our students. By giving forward, you are investing in the education of another student, and may that count as a perpetual act of kindness, the reward for which is nothing short of Heaven, āmīn.
